This elegant ceramic side plate has been designed by ceramicist Keith Brymer Jones and is part of his Word Range. The word ‘plate’ has been hand-stamped in a retro typewriter font, which adds just a hint of vintage style.

The plates in the Word Range are perfectly crafted of porcelain with various words individually embossed by hand. Once hand-stamped, the words are hand painted, the porcelain plates are glazed and then fired at higher than usual temperatures. This unusual process creates a hard-wearing, super white finish that is dishwasher safe and microwave safe while retaining the translucent quality of the natural porcelain.

Keith Brymer Jones’ side plates are individually stylish on their own but can be combined them into plate sets or sets of designer dinnerware by mixing them with other items from the Word Range.
