Happy New Year from Jane Foster

So, we’re more than a week into 2018 now and hopefully those ambitious new year’s resolutions are still going strong?! Perhaps it’s tougher than you thought but keep strong, you can do it 😊 We checked in with all our designer, Jane Foster, to see what her new year’s resolutions were and what she’s excited for in 2018…

What’s your new year’s resolution?

My new year’s resolution is to become more minimalist – buying only what I need and not consuming so many possessions. We’re adding more houseplants to our home and are focusing on eating good food and staying healthy.

What are you most excited to see happen in 2018?

In 2018, I’m excited about designing and producing new screen prints (on special Swedish Munken paper), I have five books being published and I hope to get into painting on canvas, which I’m really looking forward to.

Jane Foster is a Devon-based designer who’s inspired by Scandinavian and sixties design. She is renowned for her bold and quirky artwork which originates as screen prints. Jane joined MAKE International a few years ago when MAKE International’s Head of Design and renowned ceramicist, Keith Brymer Jones, and Jane collaboratively produced a range of mugs. They featured her iconic animal head designs which were eye-catchingly bright and unmistakably Jane Foster. These mugs are back in stock for a limited time only so grab them while you can – they’re real statement pieces and in high demand so won’t be around for long…
